STOW — A 55-year-old Ohio man was charged Saturday with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and fourth-degree criminal possession of marijuana.
According to New York State Police, Michael Chappell was pulled over on I-86 for speeding found to be carrying a bag containing 2.66 ounces of marijuana, 22 methadone pills (a controlled substance for which Chappell did not have a prescription) and hash oil.
Chappell was processed at SP Jamestown, arraigned in the Town of Chautauqua Court and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail.
