BUFFALO — Sam Reinhart tallied his 13th goal of the season and Evander Kane netted his 19th as Robin Lehner stopped 23 shots en route to a Sabres 2-0 victory over the Colorado Avalanche.
Reinhart’s goal came on the power play just 48 seconds into the second period. It was fed by Rasmus Ristolainen and Ryan O’Reilly.
Kane’s goal was assisted by Evan Rodrigues and Jack Eichel at 15:46 of the third period.
The Sabres next take on the St. Louis Blues at 1 p.m. Saturday at KeyBank Center.
