CORTLAND — Buffalo State’s Princella McCullough (Rochester/Bishop Kearney) was named to the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) All-Conference Third Team today, per the conference’s release.

McCullough earns the post season honor in her first year with the Bengals’ program after transferring from Mansfield University in Pennsylvania.  The sophomore criminal justice major was the only player in the conference to average a double-double on the season, finishing the year scoring 10.7 points and snatching 11.1 boards per game.  Her rebounds per contest average was tied for 39th-best in all of Division III.

McCullough recorded 10 double-doubles in 25 games played and shot 42.4 percent from the field this year, the eighth-best percentage in the SUNYAC.  Her 278 total rebounds were tied for fifth-most during a single-season in school history.
