James was retired from the New York State Liquor Authority where he was a licensing and investigating official and later had an automotive business. He was a member of the Somerset Conservation Club and was involved with the Somerset/Barker Youth Baseball league for 25 years. His passions were cars and baseball.
Surviving is his wife connie; Son’s Sean (Melinda) Lawley; Patrick (Carolyn) Lawley; Mike (Morgan) Lawley; Step-Son’s Jeffrey Wick and Brian (Susan) Wick. A brother Thomas (Christine) Lawley; grandchildren Elizabeth, Patrick, Michael, Sarah, Isabella, James, Thomas, Linda, Sloan and Sam. Also surviving is 9 Step-grandchildren, 2 nephews and 1 niece.
Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service on TUESDAY MARCH 7th at 12Noon at the RUTLAND-CORWIN FUNERAL HOME INC. 1708 Pallister Ave. Barker, NY 14012. Inurnment will be in Somerset Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully declined by the family.
