KERN – James W. Of Lakeview, entered into rest March 23, 2017. Beloved husband and soul mate of Maria (nee Stoycoff) Kern; loving son of the late Joseph and Helen (nee Burgess) Kern; dear brother of David (Dawn) Kern and Robert (Carol) Kern; fond brother-in-law of Susan (Walter) Besecker; also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME, (Southtowns Chapel), 3060 Abbott Rd. near Lake Ave. on Tuesday from 3-7 PM where prayers will be said Wednesday morning at 9:30 o’clock and a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Victory Basilica at 10:30 o’clock. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Mr. Kern served in the US Army.
