AMHERST — Autism Services Inc (ASI) welcomes 10-year-old exceptional artist and author Kristin Maggio, of Akron, back to their Atrium 124 Gallery at 124 Elmwood Avenue in Buffalo for her third solo exhibition, titled “Awake: Paintings and Poems by Kristin Maggio.” The show features paintings and poems about nature’s springtime awakening and the magic of the nocturnal world. The Opening Reception for “Awake” is on Friday, April 7th 2017 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. The exhibit will be on view by appointment through 4/14.

“We are proud to present this exhibition of Kristin’s latest work, which offers viewers a peek into Kristin’s world,” said Veronica Federiconi, CEO of Autism Services. “Giving artists a platform to express themselves freely is emblematic of our mission at Autism Services.

In addition to the themes Kristin chooses to paint about, the show’s title also speaks to the creative awakening of a young artist as she continues on her artistic journey.”
