BEDNARZ – Robert S. Of Lackawanna, entered into rest April 18, 2017. Beloved husband of the late Lorraine (nee Kozlowski) Bednarz; devoted father of Michael R. Bednarz, Janet (Tim) Dugan; cherished grandfather of Zachery; loving son of the late John and Josephine (nee Pajak) Bednarz; dear brother of Stanley (Anita) Bednarz, Joanne (late Steve) Jacobs, the late John (Shirley) Bednarz; also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel), 3060 Abbott Rd., near Lake Ave. on Thursday from 6-8 PM and Friday from 1-8 PM where prayers will be said Saturday morning at 10:30 o’clock. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church at 11:30 o’clock. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
Robert was a member of Father Baker Council Knights of Columbus #2243, Matthew Glab Post #1477, Holy Name Society, St. Vincent DePaul Society, and an active member of the Senior Citizens Group of OLSH Parish. Mr. Bednarz was a U.S. Army Veteran. Flowers gratefully declined. Donations may be made to Hospice Buffalo in his memory.
