BEREA, Ohio — Buffalo State competed at the 48th Annual Sparky Adams Invitational today at Baldwin Wallace, placing 10th of 11 teams.

Catarra Burroughs (Rochester/Wilson Magnet) and Ashley Lyons (Freeport/Freeport) posted the top-finishes for the Bengals.  Burroughs was fourth in the 100-meter dash (12.49), and Lyons was fourth in the 400-meter dash (1:00.77). Dayonna Holmes (Rochester/Charlotte) placed fifth in the long jump (5.34m). Satin Holmes (Rochester/Wilson Magnet) was eighth in the 200-meter dash (26.48), and Elizabeth Wall (Horseheads/Horseheads) was eighth in the 1,500-meter run (5:07.45).

Buffalo State will compete in one final tune-up meet before the SUNYAC Championships next Saturday at St. John Fisher.
