AMHERST TIMES

East Amherst resident Michel Bruneau was recently awarded The Garcia Memorial Prize for his new novel, My Author is Dead.  Bruneau, a Professor at the University of Buffalo, is an earthquake engineer and a novelist.

The Garcia Memorial Prize, given in conjunction with the national Reader Views Book Awards, is named in honor of Garcia, one of the finest Old English Sheepdogs to have ever roamed the Earth.  This prize, awarded in loving memory of an extraordinary life well-lived, celebrates an extraordinary work of fiction.

Bruneau’s genre-defying novel, My Author is Dead, is wildly different—and wildly entertaining. To learn more about Michel Bruneau or My Author is Dead, visit:  http://michelbruneau.com/
