Patricia J. (Liddle) Jones 69, of Lakewood NY passed suddenly May 27, 2017 at WCA Hospital Jamestown, NY. Born in Dubois Pa., she was the daughter of Ronald & Mary(Mckeown) Liddle who moved to Lockport in 1954. Patricia was predeceased by her brother Ronald(Phyliss) Mckeown and is survived by her husband of 41 years R. Harry Jones.
Patricia was a 1966 graduate of Lockport Senior High School and worked at the Fraternal Order of Eagles Club and as manager of Odd Fellows Rebekah Nursing Home. She also was a business owner of her own business “PJ’s Place” and was an avid bowler being President of her league for many years. As a lifelong devotion to animals, Patricia also spent many years of her life working with Save-A-Pet heading a team who rescued numerous animals and helped reunite so many with lost pets as well as penning a popular weekly newspaper column in the Union Sun & Journal “Critter Corner” spanning several years.
Patricia is survived by her children Jeffery Liddle, Fred Sanford Jr., Scott Sanford, Raymond Harry Jones Jr., Margaret Jones, Bridget Bauer and the late Regina Jones and many Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
Visitation for sharing Patricia’s joyous life will be on Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 at the Taylor and Reynolds Funeral Home, 70 Niagara st. Lockport, where the Funeral service will be held at 11:00am Thursday. Entombment in Glenwood Mausoleum. Memorials to Save-A-Pet would be appreciated by the family.
