ALLEGANY — A 25-year-old Black Creek man was charged Friday with criminal possession of a weapon and unlawful possession of marijuana following a traffic stop on Buffalo Road.
According to New York State Police, Robert L. Tredway was stopped for not wearing a seat belt and found to be in possession of a smoking pipe containing marijuana. Tredway was also found to be in possession of brass knuckles. Tredway was processed as SP Olean and issued an appearance ticket. His passenger, Richard C Alicea, 57 of Olean, was ticketed for unlawful possession of marijuana.
Both men are due in Town of Allegany court in July.
