BLATTENBERGER – Edith M. “Edie” (nee Knowles) of Lackawanna, entered into rest July 9, 2017, beloved wife of the late Walter Blattenberger; devoted mother of Randall (Roxanne) Blattenberger, Loren (John) Blattenberger and the late Noel (Emma Jean) Blattenberger and Dean (Mary) Blattenberger; cherished grandmother of Wendie (Bruce) Stockton, Matthew (Denise) Blattenberger, Daniel (Angela) Blattenberger, Gary Blattenberger, Randall Blattenberger and the late Mark Blattenberger; great-grandmother of Bruce and Alyssa Stockton and Matthew and Taylor Blattenberger; also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and very dear friends.
Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Southtowns Chapel), 3060 Abbott Rd. near Lake Ave. on Tuesday from 3-7 PM. A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday morning at 9 o’clock. Interment Lakeside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Buffalo, 225 Como Park Blvd., Cheektowaga, NY 14227. Edie was a lifetime member of the Ronald Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women’s Society Mizpah Class, also a volunteer at the Lackawanna Food Pantry for 16 years since the beginning.
