BUFFALO — This evening’s battle between two of the top three highest-scoring offenses in the SUNYAC did not disappoint, but Buffalo State found itself on the wrong end of a 96-83 decision to Plattsburgh in the Buffalo State College Sports Arena.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Mike Henry (Syracuse/West Genesee) led the Bengals in scoring with 25 points, on 12-15 shooting, to go along with four rebounds and five assists.
- Sheldon Adams (Rochester/Bishop Kearney) matched his career-high with 22 points and seven rebounds.
- Sir.Quintin Campbell (Tonawanda/Kenmore East) chipped in 15 points and four rebounds.
- Malik Turner (New York/NIA Prep) added nine points.
- Buffalo State opened the game on a 9-0 run until back-and-forth play led to a 29-20 Plattsburgh lead after the first 10 minutes of action.
- Henry converted back-to-back layups late in the first half to trim the lead to seven at halftime, 44-37.
- After finding itself down by 10 points early in the second half, the Bengals battled back and recaptured the lead with a 79-76 score with 4:41 left in the frame.
- Plattsburgh closed the game on 20-4 run to earn the win.
- The Cardinals outscored Buffalo State 20-2 in 2nd chance points and 24-22 in points off turnovers.

- Jonathan Patron led the Cardinals with 29 points and 14 rebounds.
- Eric Mack chipped in 23 points and 8 rebounds.
