YORKSHIRE — New York State Police charged 47-year-old Jason J. Previty of Freedom with driving while impaired by drugs, unlawful possession of marijuana and seventh-degree criminal possession of marijuana following a traffic stop on McKinstry Road.
According to police, Previty was placed under arrest after failing multiple SFSTs. Previty was also found to be in possession of marijuana and a variety of Codeine pills. He was transported to SP Machias for processing and was evaluated by a Drug Recognition Expert, who concluded that Previty was under the influence of a CNS Depressant, Narcotic Analgesic and Cannabis.
Previty was issued appearance tickets returnable to the town of Yorkshire Court.
