The Canisius baseball program hits the road again as they travel to West Long Branch, N.J., for a three-game series with Monmouth, Mar. 30-31.

GETTING STARTED
• With his four hits Sunday, redshirt senior Liam Wilson has reached base in all 20 games this season and 23 times in his last 24 games, dating back to last year.
• With his two games played on Sunday, senior Ryan Stekl passed Conner Burke (’09) for ninth place in career games played in school history with 194.
• With his seven at-bats on Sunday, Stekl also moves into fourth place in most at-bats in program history with 737, passing Ian Choy (’10).

A LOOK BACK AT LAST WEEK
• The Griffs won two of three contests at home against Fairfield, Mar. 24-25.
• In the series, junior Conner Morro led the charge with a .400 batting average (4-for-10), adding three runs scored and one RBI.
• Wilson and sophomore Stephen Bennett also had contributions as they batted .385 and .364, respectively.
• The Blue and Gold played its third extra innings game of the season. Griffs played five extra innings contests in 2017. 

ABOUT THE HAWKS
• Monmouth is 5-14 on the year, holding a 0-1 record at home.
• The Hawks dropped four-straight to open the 2018 campaign and are currently in the midst of a three-game slide. Most recently they dropped a mid-week contest to Hofstra, 14-6 on Mar. 27.
• The teams’ offensive has been led by junior outfielder Kyle Norman who is boasting a .343 batting average with 24 hits in 70 at-bats to go along with 18 RBI and 16 runs scores.
• Senior Pete Papcun and redshirt senior Shaine Hughes also provide an offensive punch batting .318 and .308, respectively.
