BUFFALO, N.Y. — No. 16 William Smith had 13 different players find the back of the net as the Herons rolled past host Buffalo State, 21-2, in a non-conference contest today at Coyer Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Christina Krowel (Amsterdam/B.H.-B.L.) scored both Buffalo State goals in the loss.
- The Herons opened the scoring on the first possession of the game, but the Bengals answered less than two minutes later.
- It was all William Smith from there, however, as it scored 14-consecutive goals to close out the first half and pushed the lead to 20-1 with 15 minutes remaining.
- Krowel netted her second of the game with 9:15 remaining and William Smith would later complete the scoring.
- The Herons outshot the Bengals 29-5 and held a 16-5 advantage in turnovers.
- Elyse Stark (Lido Beach/Long Beach) finished with three saves in the loss.
FOR THE FOES
- Sarah Benyo, Rachel Yackel and Ali Burns scored three goals apiece to lead William Smith.
