The Niagara County Department of Health issued the following update on positive COVID-19 cases in Niagara County:
We regretfully report the deaths of 6 Niagara County residents. We send our deepest sympathies to their family and friends:
- An 61 year-old female with underlying health conditions
- A 94 year-old female with underlying health conditions
- An 83 year-old female with underlying health conditions
- An 89 year-old male with underlying health conditions
- A 90 year-old male with underlying health conditions
- A 62 year-old male with underlying health conditions
The rest of the update is as follows:
- 41 new positive cases
- Total of 570 positives to date (isolations + recoveries + deaths)
- 249 active cases (230 isolating at home or 19 in hospital)
- 287 recovered
- 34 deaths

Niagara County Legislature Chairman Becky Wydysh will provide an update on COVID-19 today at 2 p.m. The update will be live on LCTV and streamed at lctv.net.
