Two Frewsburg residents were arrested following a domestic incident on August 20, 2018. Brittany Norris, 26, was charged with Assault 3rd Degree and Criminal Mischief 4th Degree. Brian Jones, 34, was charged with Criminal Obstruction of Breathing or Blood Circulation and Harassment 2nd Degree.
According to New York State Troopers, officers responded to a residence in Frewsburg for a report of a domestic dispute. Investigation revealed that during an argument, Jones pushed and choked Norris, after which she threw a glass bowl at Jones. The bowl shattered and shards of glass remained in Jones’ foot. Norris and Jones were both treated at UPMC Hospital in Jamestown for their injuries and placed under arrest upon their release. Norris and Jones were both processed at SP Jamestown and released with appearance tickets.
Norris and Jones are scheduled to appear in the town of Carroll Court later in the month to answer the charges.
