A 47-year-old Lakewood man was charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana on August 23, 2018 following a routine traffic stop.
According to New York State Troopers, Shawn Hill was pulled over for not wearing his seatbelt on Main Street in Falconer and while speaking to Hill, the Troopers smelled marijuana emanating from inside the vehicle. A search of Hill and his vehicle revealed a bottle containing two grams of marijuana and a smoking device containing marijuana residue.
Hill was issued a traffic ticket and an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the town of Ellicott Court next month.
