A 24-year-old Troupsburg man was charged with DWI on September 15, 2018 following an inspection of a suspicious vehicle.
According to New York State Troopers, officers observed a suspicious vehicle suddenly stop and shut off its lights on County Route 12 in the Town of Wellsville. Upon interview of the driver, identified as Timothy M. Knight, the odor of an alcoholic beverage was detected. SFSTs were conducted which Knight subsequently failed. He was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and was transported to SP Amity for processing where he recorded a 0.14% BAC.
He was released on tickets and is due in the Town of Wellsville Court on 9/26/2018 at 10:00 A.M.
