Code Blue shelters are open in the City of Buffalo and Lockport tonight.
In Buffalo; The following overnight shelters will be OPEN tonight:
- 100 E Tupper St, Buffalo – accessible location, OPEN 7pm-7am
Daytime Shelter:
- Daytime shelter OPEN daily at 100 E Tupper St, Buffalo 7am-6pm
Code Blue Clients will be permitted at the NFTA METRO Transportation Center from 5pm-7pm to obtain bus tickets to the Code Blue Shelter when Code Blue is called. They will not be allowed to wait at the NFTA outside of those hours.

In Lockport: Code Blue will be in effect on Wednesday November 19th. Overnight temperatures are forecast below freezing throughout the period.
Any homeless person or individual without heat can go to the Salvation Army directly between the hours of 8pm – 10pm, if after 10 pm, please report to the walk-up window at the Niagara Street entrance of Lockport Police Department where they will assist individuals seeking shelter.
