Code Blue shelters are open in the City of Buffalo and Lockport tonight.
In Buffalo; Men and women will be able to go to overnight shelter tonight at the City Mission. 100 E Tupper St, Buffalo. Overnight shelter is open from 7PM to 7AM. Breakfast will be served 7AM to 8AM.
There will be no transportation, people will have to make their own way to the Mission.
Actual Code Blue starts Saturday with transportation. Clients can be at the NFTA Greyhound Station from 5pm till 7pm. The bus ticket will only use the number 8 Bus and is only good for going to the Mission.

In Lockport: Code Blue will be in effect tonight 11/12/25 and tomorrow 11/13/25. Overnight temperatures are forecast below freezing throughout the period.
Any homeless person or individual without heat can go to the Salvation Army directly between the hours of 8pm – 10pm, if after 10 pm, please report to the walk-up window at the Niagara Street entrance of Lockport Police Department where they will assist individuals seeking shelter.
