NEWFANE — On November 7th, 2025 at approximately 1302 hours, the Niagara County Sheriff’s Communication Center received a 911 call reporting a fire inside of a residence in the 2600 block of Transit Rd. All residents were able to safely evacuate prior to patrol arrival.
Personnel and equipment from multiple fire companies arrived on scene and confirmed a working fire. The fire was eventually brought under control by responding fire units. The investigation into the cause of the fire is being handled by the Niagara County Fire Investigation Unit. There is no estimate on damages at this time.
