Niagara County Sheriff Michael Filicetti announces the arrest of 43-year-old Melissa Biscotto, following a criminal investigation at the Niagara County Correctional Facility.
According to NCSO, on 08/15/2025, at around 1536 hours, Biscotto threw an unknown liquid at a Correctional Officer while she was incarcerated at The Niagara County Correctional Facility. The liquid struck the Officer in the head, neck, arm and chest area.
Biscotto was charged with 240.26 (Harassment in the second degree) She was released back to the custody of the Niagara County Correctional Facility. Biscotto is scheduled to appear for this charge in the Town of Lockport Court on 09/18/2025 at 09:00 hours.
