Buffalo’s next “Reading Invasion” will be held Thursday night at AKG from 7-8 p.m.

According to the group, the event will be held “behind the Buffalo AKG Art Museum (on the side facing Hoyt Lake).”

This is a free event, open to the public, 100% family friendly, and is as simple as it sounds: gather and read and celebrate gathering and reading together.

Some notes for the evening event:

  • The AKG is open until 8pm that night, including the bathrooms.
  • Cornelia, the great restaurant inside, will be open as well if you want to grab a drink or a small plate of food.
  • Parking is available anywhere along Lincoln Parkway, in the area near the AKG, or at the AKG underground garage (off Elmwood)–though there is a fee for that.
  • In the event of rain, attendees will meet inside the Wilson Town Square.

Lastly, one more Invasion will be held this summer. On Thursday August 14th, the group will be be heading back to Frank Lloyd Wright’s Martin House. More details to come.
