
The Kenmore Village Improvement Society (KVIS) is honored to be able to offer the Anne Moot Music Scholarship to a Kenmore/Tonawanda area student studying music. Anne Altenburg Moot is a well-known pianio teacher and performer. An MFA graduate of SUNY Buffalo where she stud ied with Livingston Gearhart, she is a graduate of The Artist and Licentiate programs of the Royal Conservatory of To ronto. Some of her students from a long teaching career have achieved prominence in the music field. She has per formed widely in WNY including a debut with the BPO, recitals at UB and on WBFO. She was the first accompanist for the Affiliate Artist program in WNY. Some of her original four-hand composition have been published by Robert Pace of the International Piano Foundation. She and her piano partner have made 2 piano duet recordings.
“I am delighted to help further the education of young people who are studying music,” said Anne Moot.

The KVIS is a group of volunteers celebrating 17 years of loving up on the community. We strive to help make our neck of the woods as good as possible in as many ways as needed.
