CAMBRIA – On 05/07/2025 a larceny of goods occurred at a roadside farm stand in the Town of Cambria. The victim was able to provide images of the female suspect and her vehicle.

That night, a request to the public was put out through the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page, asking the public for assistance in an attempt to help identify the suspect. The post was then shared over 1,500 times.

With the assistance of the public, a possible suspect was identified. Further assistance from the Niagara County Intelligence and Crime Analysis Center was used to correctly identify the female suspect.

As a result of the investigation by Deputy Pegan, Shelly M. Geber, 59 years of age, from the Town of Cheektowaga was charged with one count of Petit Larceny. She was processed and released on an appearance ticket due to bail reform.
