On April 22, 2025, Sheriff Michael Filicetti announced the arrest of Gerald G. Hunt Sr, 53, of Niagara Falls, NY. Following an investigation by the Niagara County Drug Task Force, Hunt was arrested on the following felony charges:
- Two counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance 3rd
- Two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell 3rd
Hunt was held in Niagara County Jail pending arraignment.
