BUFFALO – The Taste of Buffalo presented by Tops today announced Matthew J. Reis as chair of the 2025 event. Additionally, it was announced that the deadline for restaurants, food trucks, and wineries to apply for the 2025 festival is Sunday, February 2. Applications can be completed at www.tasteofbuffalo.com or by clicking here for restaurants, here for food trucks, and here for wineries. This year’s event takes place Saturday, July 12 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday, July 13 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. along Delaware Ave. and Niagara Square in downtown Buffalo.
Reis has been involved with the Taste for nearly two decades, starting off as a volunteer in 2007. Ahead of the 2011 Taste, he was elected to the board of directors and soon after was named Chair of the Logistics Committee. During Reis’ time as Chair of Logistics, he helped improve procedures, instituted new signage at the event, and has led the design of the yearly event map. Reis currently owns a commercial foodservice consulting and design business. Heresides in the Village of Hamburg with his wife Jen, son Cameron, and their two cats.
