The Buffalo Police Department announced today that five gun-related arrests were made between Dec. 2 and Dec. 8 with four guns seized by the department over that period.

Rafael Marchese Pagan, 55, of Buffalo was arrested on the 200 block of Roesch Avenue. A loaded Taurus 709 Slim handgun was recovered. Marchese Pagan has two prior felony convictions. The District Attorney’s office requested remand, the Honorable Judge Gary Wilson released Marchese Pagan under the supervision of probation.

Alfonzo Quinney, 48, of Buffalo was arrested and charged with Murder and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in connection with a homicide that occurred on the 100 block of Northland Avenue on Friday, September 6, 2024. Quinney has four prior felony convictions. The District Attorney’s office requested remand, the Honorable Judge James Bargnesi remanded the defendant.
Tikeyshia Dexter, 38, and Anthony Lanier, 39, both of Buffalo were arrested on the 100 block of Wyoming Avenue. An MP Shield .22 handgun and a Canik 9mm handgun were recovered. Dexter and Lanier were also charged with felony drug offenses. Lanier has two prior felony convictions. The District Attorney’s office requested remand for both defendants, the Honorable Judge Gary Wilson remanded both defendants.

Louis Thomas, III, 27, of Buffalo was arrested at E North Street and Michigan Avenue. A loaded Glock 19x was recovered. Thomas has one prior felony conviction. The District Attorney’s office requested remand, the Honorable Judge Gary Wilson remanded the defendant.
