On December 4, 2023, Troopers on the Traffic Incident Management detail arrested Christopher M. Winkowski, 42 of Wheatfield, NY for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated- BAC > .18% and other vehicle and traffic infractions.
On December 4, 2023, at 9:10 A.M., Troopers responded to a report of an intoxicated male at 7 Eleven on Ward Road in the town of Wheatfield, NY. Troopers located the male in a 2013 Lincoln MKX. Troopers interviewing Winkowski, an odor of alcoholic beverage was present and placed under arrest after failing SFST’s and transported to SP Niagara for processing and recorded a .22% BAC.
Winkowski transported to the Niagara County Jail for Centralized Arraignment.
