Hello Metalheads! This is John back with another early album review! This time I bring to you the latest offering from the technical death metal behemoths, Inferi! Inferi are unleashing their newest album Heaven Wept on April 10th, 2026 via Artisan Era.
Inferi start right into their 6th full length album just as anyone would expect. Fast, punishing, melodic and downright technical with just the right amount of orchestration as a background. Inferi have been a band that I listen to a good amount of for a long time now. They either range from being super layered and dense to stripped down and brutal. Their contrast in sound has captivated me for a good length of time.
Needless to say, Heaven Wept absolutely rips in every way Inferi are masters of their craft. On my personal scale I’d give this new album a 9.5/10! It’s damn near perfect and it’ll be replayed by tech death heads for years. If you’re like me then go listen, stream and buy this album when it drops on April 10th!
