Worm is our March 2026 band of the month! I’ve been a fan of this endeavor since the “Gloomlord” album. I was in love with the death/doom sound. That quickly changed with the 2022 EP “Bluenothing” as the band experimented with a blackened, progressive sound. It wasn’t bad and a little rough for a fan who doesn’t love black metal. The follow up effort a 2023 split with Dream Unending “Starparth” started tickling my fancy with them again. I consistently listened to the first two records when they dropped and fell into a rut with them. I didn’t hate it. Fast forward to the end of last year they started releasing singles for this year’s album “Necropalace”. I absolutely loved the direction they were going, and love it. It’s an almost cinematic or theatric like experience now. It took a few releases and now musically understand their direction with their newer releases.

I believe they have played a few shows (not many) in the last few years and that was probably one hell of an experience. I’m sure a good amount of people know this band but in the event you don’t, well here you go. A diverse project packed full of diversity and a unique experience Worm provides that and then some.
