LOCKPORT — Niagara County District Attorney Brian D. Seaman announced that Savion L. Wilkins, age 27, was sentenced this afternoon to a combined 57 years to life for sexually abusing multiple children in Niagara Falls in 2017. A jury convicted Wilkins in October of this year of multiple counts of Predatory Sexual Assault Against a Child and Sexual Abuse.
Seaman stated: “Abuse of this kind, committed against children, is amongst the most grievous crimes that a person can commit. The harshness of the sentence matches the atrocity of the crimes.”
The sentence was imposed by County Court Judge John J. Ottaviano. The Niagara Falls Police Department conducted the investigation, and Special Victims Bureau Chief Heather Nicholson and Assistant District Attorney Rob Zucco prosecuted the case.
