Hello Metalheads! This is John back with another early album review! This time I bring to your attention the new album from Chaos Over Cosmos. Their new album called The Hypercosmic Paradox is set to release on December 15th, 2025.
This project is a two man operation with Rafal Bowman who covers all of the instrumental aspects and who leads this project. Taha Mohsin covers vocals and all of the lyrics. One of the more unique aspects of this band is that all of this is coordinated remotely. Rafal is from Poland and Taha is from Pakistani!
The two have created this ultra technical, progressive yet melodic brand of death metal. It has this super over the top feel almost at all times and has a ton of layers of sound. The guitar work is dizzying that is often layered with synths and programmed drums that match the intensity and chaos of the guitars. The entire album has a cosmic atmosphere at all times like we’re blasting through space at all times!
So overall I would give The Hypercosmic Paradox a 8.5/10 on my personal scale. The super blistering and over the top melodic tech death is very well executed. On top of that the vocals are very solid! As always don’t forget to stream, follow and even buy this album when it is released! Links will be below!
