ENTHEOS has dropped a new song titled “Empty on the Inside”. If you love the band as much as I do and follow them, you’d know they were recording an album. One can assume this could be from it. Or is separate, who knows. I’ve loved them since they released “Infinite Nothing” and it’s been a steady level of obsession each year.

The song rocks in many ways. It has a bit of their older sound (with the electronics and Chaney using a higher register vocally), while exploring even more new areas. Their interest in gothic and industrial music has come full circle. It’s a very diverse song split vocally between singing and screaming. Guitar wise, it’s taken a back seat. And for this song it fits beautifully. The rhythm drives this song especially the intro and verses. That is where Navene’s drums carry those sections musically speaking. The chorus is heavy, punishing and full of anguish. I think it’s a really cool song and enjoyed it more each time through. It’s a grower for sure.

Also, they have a sweet new logo. The band dropped the music video for the song today coinciding with it. The band is going on their first headlining tour this fall. They’ll be joined by Fallujah, The Zenith Passage and Tracheotomy. You can grab tickets from their website at the link below.
