We’re celebrating the start of the 2025-26 season with a Party in Ticketmaster Alumni Plaza on Oct. 9 ahead of our Home Opener, presented by KeyBank.
The party starts at 3:45 p.m. and will include live music, activities, food and beverages, player and alumni appearances, and more.
Here’s what to expect before the puck drops between the Sabres and the Rangers.
Blue and Gold Carpet
Welcome the Sabres players as they arrive at KeyBank Center and walk the Blue and Gold Carpet beginning at 3:45 p.m. Be sure to get there early – you may leave with an autograph!
Entertainment
Nerds Gone Wild will be bringing the energy with a performance in Ticketmaster Alumni Plaza beginning at 4:45 p.m.
Photo Opportunities
Look out for a special “Welcome to the Sabrehood” sign, which will be stationed for photos in Ticketmaster Alumni Plaza.
A commemorative ticket station provided by Ticketmaster will also be located in the plaza. Have your photo taken and go home with a print-out ticket to remember the night.
Take a Photo and Enter to Win a Rasmus Dahlin Jersey
Stop by the KeyBank photo op located at Aisle 16 on the 100 Level, where you will be able to take a photo and scan a QR code for a chance to win a signed Rasmus Dahlin jersey and a “Meet Me at KeyBank Center” LED sign!
Rally Towel Giveaway
KeyBank is providing every fan in attendance with a commemorative rally towel, which will be waiting on your seat when you get in the building. Doors open at 5 p.m.
Evolv Express Entry
Security screening as you enter KeyBank Center will be significantly streamlined by the addition of Evolv Express security technology.
The system – which is utilized in arenas throughout the country and was recognized by Sports Business Journal as best in sports technology in 2024 – will allow fans to be scanned without emptying their pockets (as demonstrated by Sabretooth in the above photo.)
New This Season – Interactive Pregame Light Show, Presented By KeyBank
Be in your seats before the opening puck drop to participate in a pregame light show, a new feature for the 2025-26 season.
Fans will have the opportunity to scan a QR code on the videoboard during the pregame show in order to participate. Simply scan the code and you’re in – no app download required!
New Goal Song
We’re introducing a new goal song for games when the Sabres wear blue and gold – and letting you decide!
We’ve narrowed the choices to five songs based on initial round of fan submissions. Vote once per day through Oct. 3 at sabres.com/goalsong.
