NIAGARA FALLS — EMG Music Group and Virgin Music Group are holding auditions for local musicians in Niagara Falls on Sunday, Sept. 14 and Sept. 21.
Auditions will be held from 2-6 p.m. each date at the Niagara Arts and Culture Center, 1201 Pine Ave.
Artists must reserve a time slot in advance and pay $50 to audition. To secure a spot, email emgdistribution@gmail.com
Performers who participate may receive:
- Direct feedback from top music executives and A&R representatives
- Global music distribution and exposure through EMG & a major label
- Nomination for the Global Indie Awards
- Radio play and featured artist write-ups
- Participation in the 48-City/ 5- Country (TBA) EMG Tour, in partnership with Derrick Lawson (Entertainment Concierge) The Indie Affair Tour.
This unique opportunity is designed to give independent artists the visibility, professional guidance, and resources they need to succeed in today’s competitive music industry.
The event is organized by Jaszi, an R&B artist from Niagara Falls who was first discovered by industry heavyweights Cutmaster C and Big Fendi, the same powerhouses who helped launch the careers of Nicki Minaj, French Montana, Max B, and other industry legends.
Her debut single, “Turn It Down,” broke onto the Top 200 Global Charts for R&B New Releases, marking her as an emerging force in the genre. With a catalog of music videos and a growing performance résumé, Jaszi has toured across multiple states, headlining shows and opening for major acts.
In January 2025, Jaszi reached a new milestone by signing a music distribution deal with EMG and Virgin Music Group, solidifying her place in the industry and expanding her reach to global audiences.
Now, she is using her platform to create opportunities for other independent artists by connecting them directly with executives and distribution channels that can change the course of their careers.
The auditions will be judged by a panel consisting of:
