Sheriff Michael Filicetti announces the arrest of 39-year-old Kevin Spellman, following a criminal investigation at the Niagara County Correctional Facility. On 08/03/2025, at around 1150 hours, Spellman threw an unknown liquid (presumed to be urine) at a Correctional Officer while he was incarcerated at The Niagara County Correctional Facility. The liquid struck the Officer in the head, neck, and chest area.
Spellman was charged with 240.32 (Aggravated Harassment of an Employee by an inmate), an E Felony. He was released on an appearance ticket answerable back to Lockport Town Court on 08/29/2025 at 09:00 hours.
