LOCKPORT – On July 25th, 2025 at around 11:16 hours, a concerned citizen contacted the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office Communications Division and reported a possible intoxicated driver.

Deputy Kenny was able to locate the vehicle in the City of Lockport and observed a traffic violation. During the course of the subsequent traffic investigation, Deputy Kenny observed signs of intoxication from the operator who was identified as Ashleigh Nunnari, a 32-year-old female from the City of Lockport.

Nunnari was arrested for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated – Leandra’s Law (Felony), Operating a Motor Vehicle above .08% B.A.C. (Misdemeanor), Driving While Intoxicated (Misdemeanor), Endangering the Welfare of a Child (Misdemeanor), and additional Vehicle and Traffic Law violations.

The 8-year-old passenger was released to a family member.

Nunnari was processed and will have a court appearance in the City of Lockport at a later date.
