Instrumental progressive metal band Myth of I recently released their latest effort “Stream”. The band continues to push the boundaries we know as music and create some cool sounds. Sure the guitar work is shredly but it’s very tasty. There’s some cool melodic lines but doesn’t really too heavy on riffs or guitar leads. It’s a solid mixture of what to expect from the style.

The rhythms are great, with some tasty drum work and cool bass lines as well. The 6 track EP only runs at 21 minutes, so it’s very digestible. We have Promoted the band before and glad to see they’re still shredding. “Stream” is a rather kooky release with some cool moments. The music is layered well and isn’t too busy. It’s a very ethereal and surreal experience.

The EP released May 23rd independently. You can listen to this release at the various links below.
