
The Niagara Falls Americans got all the offense the needed in the first two innings of their game Friday night against the Jamestown Tarp Skunks at Diethrick Park.
The visiting Americans scored one run in the first inning and three more in the third, taking a 4-0 lead, which Jamestown chipped away at, but was never able to break.
Jamestown scored one run in the third, sixth and seventh innings.
The 4-3 win is the Americans Americans seventh consecutive victory. At 14-6-0, the team leads the league.
The Americans will host the Tarp Skunks at Sal Maglie Stadium at 6:30 p.m. Saturday.
