The Niagara Falls Americans road trip to Geneva ended in victory as the team bested the Geneva Red Wings, 11-3.

The Red Wings got on the scoreboard first, taking a 1-0 lead over the Americans. The Americans struck back an inning later, knotting the game at 1.

All was quiet on the scoreboard until the top of the sixth inning when the Americans took a 4-1 lead over the home team. They tacked on two more runs an inning later before Geneva got their second run in the bottom of the seventh.

Niagara Falls scored two more runs in the top of the eighth, taking an 8-2 lead into the ninth. Then they added three more runs in the top of ninth for an insurmountable 11-2 lead.

Geneva did score a consolation run in the bottom of the ninth, but the game ended 11-3.

The Americans next host the Ironbacks on Thursday at Sal Maglie Field before heading to Jamestown to take on the Tarp Skunks on Friday.
