LOCKPORT – On Monday, June 23rd, 2025, the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call reporting a motorcycle accident in the 4300 Block of Purdy Road in the Town of Lockport.
Initial investigation by the responding Deputies at the scene revealed that sometime overnight, a motorcyclist collided with a deer in the roadway. The operator of the motorcycle then left the roadway and collided with a telephone pole.
The operator was deceased upon arrival of emergency responders. The name of the party involved is being withheld at this time pending notification to family. This accident is being investigated by the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office Accident Investigation Unit.
