The Niagara Falls Americans went to Jamestown looking for a win but the Jamestown Tarp Skunks had other ideas, beating the Americans 9-0.
Jamestown started the scoring immediately, going up 2-0 in the first inning. The skunks made it 6-0 in the third inning and 8-0 in the fourth. Three innings later, the Skunks went up 9-0, after which the scoring stopped.
The Americans return home to Sal Maglie Stadium at 6:30 p.m. Friday to host the Niagara Ironbacks.
