AAA’s partner OPIS (Oil Price Information Service) says this jump in prices is likely a short-term, knee-jerk reaction to headlines, and OPIS does not anticipate a dramatic rise in oil prices without further escalation in the region. However, if crude oil prices remain at elevated levels, motorists may see gas prices rise over the coming weeks.
