LOCKPORT – Sheriff Michael Filicetti announces the arrest of 23 year old, Lazarus M. Martin an incarcerated individual at the Niagara County Correctional Facility. On May 29,2025, Martin was involved in an incident during which he punched a window in the facility, breaking it.
The estimated cost of repairing the damaged window was in excess of $1700.00. Martin was charged with one count of Criminal Mischief in the Second Degree (D-felony).
Martin will be arraigned in Niagara County Central Arraignment Part Court, and will be issued a return date for the Town of Lockport Court for further proceedings.
