TOWN OF WHEATFIELD — On 5/25/2025 at 2317 hours, while on routine patrol in the area of Niagara Falls Blvd and Mavis Drive, Deputy Pino observed two vehicles make an improper U-Turn and continue following each other into the residential area. Both vehicles pulled up to one another and as Deputy Pino attempted to initiate a Traffic Stop, they then fled.

A pursuit ensued with both vehicles through Krueger Road, Norman and Nash Roads in the Town of Wheatfield. The vehicles split, heading in opposite directions. Deputy Pino gave chase to one vehicle, quickly determined to be stolen out of the Town of Amherst. The vehicle pursuit continued through numerous jurisdictions and with the assistance of multiple Law Enforcement partners.

Ultimately, riding on a flat tire, then the rim of the vehicle, it came to rest in the McCarthy Park in the City of Buffalo. All occupants fled on foot from the vehicle. Deputy Pino deployed K9 Reggie and Lt. Kroening responded with the UAV (Drone).

With the assistance of the City of Buffalo Police and New York State Police, three occupants were taken into custody without incident. Anevaeh S. Williams, an 18-year-old female from the City of Buffalo, and two Juvenile Males (13-&-15-years-old) from the City of Buffalo were charged with Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 3rd (D-Felony) and Obstruction of Governmental Administration 2nd (Misdemeanor).
