
LOCKPORT — Niagara County District Attorney Brian D. Seaman announced that a Niagara County jury returned a guilty verdict in the Murder case against Juan Ubiles, age 40, of Niagara Falls. Ubiles was found guilty of Murder in the Second Degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree in the killing of 44 year old Gregory Vincent in Niagara Falls on June 19, 2023.
Seaman stated: “This was a brazen and cold-blooded killing by an individual with a prior illegal weapon conviction. The defendant shot the victim down in the street in broad daylight with an illegal gun. We will be seeking the maximum sentence.”
The case was investigated by the Niagara Falls Police Department and prosecuted by First Assistant District Attorney Doreen Hoffmann and Assistant District Attorney Mattie Davis. Ubiles faces up to 40 years to Life in prison when he returns to court to be sentenced by County Court Judge John Ottaviano.
