CAMBRIA — On May 3rd, 2025 at approximately 0849 hours, the Niagara County Sheriff’s Communication Center received a 911 call reporting smoke and flames coming from a barn in the 3500 block of Lower Mountain Road.
Personnel and equipment from multiple fire companies arrived on scene and confirmed a working fire in the barn, which was subsequently put out. The barn was used to house multiple vehicles and machines. The homeowner was transported to a local hospital with minor burns.
The investigation into the cause of the fire is being handled by the Niagara County Fire Investigation Unit. There is no damage estimate at this time.
